Season 4, Podcast #2: Nicholas Dungan

Welcome back to the second week in our Resilience podcast. In this episode, BIGA sits down to talk with Nicholas Dungan, the CEO of CogitoPraxis – a European-based strategic consultancy firm whose work focuses on supporting clients to become ‘360 degrees resilience’.

From his trans-Atlantic background spanning Stanford and Sciences Po, our conversation starts with where he developed his ideas across academia and investment banking. This sets up our discussion on how non-state actors and businesses fit into the world of politics and how “uncertainty” is so often mischaracterised as only being “risk”.

Nicholas provides insights into how companies and businesses – from supermarkets to utilities – can be incorporated into national strategy for a more comprehensive, resilient country. At the end of our discussion, he shares his support for Gen-Z and the innate resilience that stems from growing up in a more fragmented world.
