The British Institute of Global Affairs is proud to announce its support for the Youth, Peace and Security agenda. Established with UN Security Council Resolution 2250 in December 2015, the YPS Agenda acknowledges the role that youth play as active agents in the field of security. For a United Kingdom that faces an aging population and growing threats abroad, a disillusioned and ignored youth is not just a political failing, it is a strategic vulnerability. This campaign starts with a contribution series on the YPS Agenda and aims to raise awareness about the agenda in the hopes of encouraging a UK Youth, Peace and Security National Action Plan. Do get in touch with us at: big.affairs.uk@gmail.com if you want to support this campaign.
